Gold Coast Tour and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Commencing at the foyer of your hotel, your luxury vehicle will transport you south along the coastal strip of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. See why this is the place even Australians come to for their holidays as well! You will continue south, passing some of the city's 42 kilometres of pristine surf and sand, while your guide gives a fascinating commentary on the facts and figures of the Gold Coast, history, current happenings and general way of life for locals.

Points of interest as you journey include Conrad Jupiters Casino, the Convention Centre, shopping centres, restaurants, surf lifesaving clubs and any festivals or special events happening at the time such as horse racing, V8 super cars, food and wine, or jazz and blues.

Along the way you’ll also have the chance to stop and put your feet in the golden sand and crystal-clear water of some of the world’s most glorious beaches. There is plenty of time and ideal vantage points to get that perfect photo of the beach and the famous Gold Coast skyline.

The next stop is the New South Wales/Queensland border town of Coolangatta and nearby Point Danger. Jump between the two states by just crossing the road, but watch out in summer time as you’ll either gain or lose an hour instantaneously!

Get up close and personal with some the countries cutest and deadliest animals at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you will have the chance to hand feed kangaroos and have your photo taken with a koala. Have a laugh with the rainbow lorikeets as they perch themselves on you as you feed them. Fall in love with the cuddly wombats. Be sure to take in the Aboriginal culture show where you’ll see traditional tribal wear, dance and music.

Before you leave, stop in at the Currumbin gift store to pick up souvenir t-shirts, Australian wildlife toys and postcards.

Leaving the park by early afternoon, you’ll travel back north towards the city of lights. For an additional fee, your tour can include a visit to the tallest residential building in the world – Q1. Travel up the 77 floors to the observation deck to watch the sun set over the Gold Coast.

Your Gold Coast orientation tour ends here, so take your time to enjoy the 360 degree view of this magical city.
