Remakables Lodge, 5*

A former home, the estate's history dates back to the Otago gold rush of 1861. Queenstown's first European settler, William Rees, founded the Remarkables Station. Since then four generations have farmed it. The homestead, built in the 1930s, was lovingly restored in 1995 and in 2004 refurbished and extended. The legacy of previous generations makes Remarkables Lodge a building of character and charm.

The guest lounge is absolutely relaxing and wonderful. With a real wood open fireplace, comfortable lounging and a warm drink or wine in your hand you will never want to leave.

Enjoy a round of billiards or pool. With large windows to The Remarkables mountains the view is spectacular whilst waiting for your next shot.

Just another added element to your relaxing time away at The Remarkables Mountain Lodge is soothing those muscles in the sauna. After testing your limits and exploring all the amazing things to do and in Queenstown, getting back the lodge for nice hot sauna will be the perfect ending to your day.

Usage of the sauna is just another added complimentary bonus to your stay at Remarkables Lodge.

Take a dip in The Remarkables Mountain Lodge pool for some exercise or just to cool off.

Or simply lay by the pool taking in the gorgeous views and surrounds.
