Mana Island Resort & Spa 4*, Mana Island

The beautiful but literally divided island of Mana is about 90 minutes northwest of Denarau. It’s home to two upmarket resorts – Mana Island Resort and Tadrai – and a couple of hostels next to the village on the southeastern end. A fence, and occasionally a guard, separates the Mana Island Resort bure-bunnies from the dorm-dwellers, and signs throughout the resort warn ‘nonguests’ that they are not welcome. For their part, the budget spots and their restaurants welcome everyone.

Mana Island Resort & Spa – Fiji is 15 minutes’ from Port Denarau by sea plane or helicopter, or 45 minutes’ by boat.

Featuring 4 bars, 2 restaurants and 2 swimming pools, this beachfront resort offers stunning ocean or tropical garden views from your private balcony or patio. Guests also enjoy a hot tub, tennis courts and a day spa.

All accommodation at Mana Island Resort includes a refrigerator, a sofa and tea/coffee making facilities. Each has a private bathroom with slippers, bathrobes and toiletries. Some bungalows offer a spa bath.

South Beach Restaurant offers cuisine with European, Pacific Island and Japanese influences. Mamanuca Restaurant features al fresco dining with themed buffet dinners each night.

Chinese speaking staff are available and Union Pay is accepted at this property.

You can go snorkeling directly off the beach or relax on the poolside and beachfront sun loungers. There are regular traditional Fijian cultural activities to experience, including kava ceremonies.
